Shipping policy

At LuxuryMarbleHome, we take immense pride in the craftsmanship and heritage of our 100% natural stone furniture. Given the weight, value, and delicate nature of solid marble and travertine, we have established the following policies to ensure your order arrives safely and that any issues are resolved promptly.


1. Shipping & Delivery Process

Freight Shipping (LTL)

All large furniture items (Dining Tables, Coffee Tables, Console Tables, TV Stands) are shipped via specialized Freight/LTL (Less Than Truckload) carriers.

  • Standard Delivery: Includes Curbside Delivery only. The carrier will unload the crate at the end of your driveway or at the curb. They are not responsible for bringing the item inside your home or disposing of the crate.
  • White-Glove Delivery: Available upon request for an additional fee. This includes room-of-choice placement and crate disposal. Please contact us at support@luxurymarblehome.com for a quote before ordering.

Estimated Timelines

  • Processing Time: 3–5 business days (Quality inspection and custom crating).
  • Transit Time: 15–25 business days (International freight from Foshan, China to US hubs).
  • Local Delivery: 3–7 business days once the item arrives at your local terminal.

2. Mandatory Inspection Procedure (CRITICAL)

You MUST inspect the shipment before the delivery driver leaves.

  1. Check for External Damage: Inspect the wooden crate for any cracks, punctures, or signs of rough handling.
  2. Open and Inspect: If possible, peek inside the crate to ensure the stone is intact.
  3. Sign the Bill of Lading (BOL):
    • If the crate is damaged, you MUST write "DAMAGED UPON RECEIPT" on the driver’s paperwork (BOL) before signing.
    • If you do not note the damage on the BOL, the carrier will deny our insurance claim, and we may be unable to provide a free replacement or refund.

3. Damage Claims & Reporting

If your item arrives damaged, follow these steps within 48 hours of delivery:

  1. Keep All Packaging: Do not discard the wooden crate or internal padding.
  2. Take Photos: Capture high-resolution photos of:
    • The exterior of the crate (showing the shipping label).
    • The internal packaging.
    • The specific area of damage on the product.
  3. Notify Us: Email support@luxurymarblehome.com with your Order Number and all photos.

Claims reported after 48 hours of delivery will be denied.


4. Natural Stone Characteristics (Not Defects)

Because our furniture is carved from 100% natural solid stone, the following are considered unique characteristics of the material and not manufacturer defects:

  • Veining & Color Variation: No two slabs are identical. Variations in vein patterns, color depth, and distribution are natural and expected.
  • Natural Pits & Fissures: Especially in Travertine and certain Marbles, small surface pits or dry veins are geological features that add character to the piece.
  • Hand-Finished Details: Minor artisanal variations in edge-work are a hallmark of our Foshan craftsmanship.

5. Returns & Cancellations

Buyer’s Remorse

Due to the extremely high cost of international freight and custom crating, we do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse (e.g., "changed my mind" or "doesn't fit the room"). Please measure your space carefully before ordering.

Cancellations

  • Within 24 Hours: Full refund.
  • After 24 Hours: If the item has already been crated or dispatched to the port, a 25% restocking fee will apply to cover labor and materials.
  • Defective/Incorrect Items: If we ship the wrong item or a genuine manufacturer defect is found (unrelated to shipping or natural stone variations), we will provide a full replacement or repair at our expense.
